The truth is that creating a blog was something new for me because I never had the idea of a creating a blog, really never caught my attention. I think that over the blogs we've done in the English classes, I have overcome some of my mistakes, which usually were of a drafting and misuse of vocabulary, talking about this I think one of the things I has encouraged the blog is to improve a little more my vocabulary because which is very important to improve understanding of the language.
The topics of the blog were entertaining, the topics could be pooled because they were talking about career and topics that were of interest to us, helps us to bring the English to our reality, because sometimes we believe that rarely we will use it, maybe never. Sometimes I felt a bit complicated to write the blog because my vocabulary is not broad enough, but the translator helped in some cases.
Personally I enjoyed seeing the blogs of my classmate, because I realized that their ideas and dreams are nice and some similar to mine, I admire the efforts of my classmate and I think everyone is going to achieve their dreams.

Well, talk about my ideal job is something like talk about my dreams and I love it. As ever told you, I would love to work in Rancagua, my hometown, it would be near people I love most, my family. I would like to work in the public system because people who have access to this system need extra help and who better than us as professionals provide the necessary help and support them more in full. Plus I wish to travel abroad to help where necessary, as Africa for example, and if possible to continue studying to improve myself a little more power. My dream is to specialize in neonatology, because babies are my passion, but I also would like to work in the delivery room and gynecology, especially to provide support for young mothers; I don't need a position in special in my work, much less dream a specific salary for the future, put my work to serve the people, is what interests me most. On the other hand I have not thought about working hours, I only wish would have time to enjoy my family.
In general, I hope to work with professionals like me, who love their work, which work together to help people above all things.

Hello! In this blog I will tell you about my best friend ... my mom. My mom was born August 22, 1963 in Rapel, she is the eldest of three sisters, and in my opinion, she is the prettiest! She had a tough childhood, where very young began to work off their studies and help the family. My mother always dreamed of studying medicine, and although he failed resources, never gave up and kept fighting.
I think my mom is the best friend anyone can have and I say this not only because her daughter, my friends say so. She is always supporting me and listening; I remember that in the summer nights we talked for hours about many things, time flew past and this it was the best because I could enjoy every moment with her, this is one of the I miss things that, now I can not meet every day because the time is not the same. Today life is much more difficult for me compared to years ago when I was at school because I'm away from my family, but I know that this whole process will be fundamental in my life because I will can share many things with them in the future and especially with my mom.

As a future health professional, I can use various tools to educate people, for example, through talks, posters, informing users in consultations, among other methods. The important thing is that education is of quality, that reflects concern for people to awaken an interest in them to learn and implement what is being taught.

There are various topics on which we may give health education, but based in obstetrics, sexual education is one of the most important topics within the profession, I can also include topics of family planning and nutrition; in nutrition is where we have gradually been taking an important role over time, especially in the nutrition of pregnant women for the correct development of pregnancy and health of the fetus. All people need education and prevention, we are all prone to diseases and living situations, which do need to note is that some people have more risk of experiencing these situations, as in the areas of low socioeconomic status, in people not have a complete school education and adolescents who are at an experimental stage.

Among the topics I'd like to educate the teen pregnancy, I still believe there is no real concern for adolescent sexual education, and I think that communication and information is one of the foundations to prevent unwanted pregnancies. It would emphasize here that in the case of young mothers, give them unconditional support.

Currently in Chile, the education program that stands out most is Chile Crece Contigo, which seeks to inform and educate women from every area and take responsibility for their actions and development. In a good program, but which still should work to improve.

Actually, the woman is reaching a more participatory role in society, achieving get rights that before only had a men, because society did created stereotypes for all aspects of the life. In the health area, we can now see the participation of men and women, but some differences still continue, for example, in certain professions such as Midwifery, there are more professional women than men because for a long time was considered a female profession and still are not changed at all that thought. In a more general level, including all the professions in the health area, we can see that the salary of men is greater than that of women, and this can be considered as discriminatory because they perform the same work and equal quality. Both women and men, undergo the same process to become professionals and are required in the same way, so it is contradictory to make differences. The quality of work which should be evaluated.

For me this topic is very important. I think that both men and women have skills and virtues that enable us to perform successfully in any area of work and in all areas of life, performance and achievements are based on perseverance and not everyone has on gender. This is my thought, but the reality is different, but I hope that this situation change in the future.

I’m in my second year of Midwifery, fulfilling my dream of studying in one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America: the University of Chile, but I have other dreams I want to achieve for example, after receiving my degree I would love to work in Rancagua, near my family. If conditions permit, years later I would like to go abroad, especially to travel to Africa, where there are many women who need help and where economic resources are scarce. So I can also say I really would like working in the public system, I think people who work there really have love for their work, but can be complemented with the private system which is important in terms of profit (money).
The specialization in neonatology is another of my dreams because as babies are my passion and know that I can help is very important to me. As far as my work schedule, I have no specific idea, but I wish I could have enough time to share with my family, and in the future, with my children.
Specifically I not pretend to have an important position in my future workplace, only I pretend try to make a quality work and dedication to people.
Those are my dreams, and I know that with the help of God it’ll be alright.

I think that all subjects are important for my career as a professional, we all bring knowledge and skills to develop in the future, I can say that so far, my favorite subject in the Midwifery career is Physiological Obstetrics, because it shows us more clearly the role we perform as professionals, we are really near of the profesional work.
Within Physiological Obstetrics, what I like most is the development of the fetus, showing changes during pregnancy and see how we can relate to it from outside. I think there is nothing "easy" in this issue because everything is difficult because we are working with lives, the hardest part is learning all the changes occurring in the pregnant woman and fetus during pregnancy because they are many. The development of content are delivered by midwives and midwives in the School of Obstetrics of the University of Chile, who are very willing to teach and answer questions.
As for my notes, are regular, not bad or good, but I want to improve and can reflect more than anything I've learned, because often the nerves betray me. I love my career and in the future try to be a midwife of excellence and help many people.
